Optiwave Refractive Analysis (ORA) is a surgical tool utilized by cataract surgeons to measure40 different refractive measurements of the eye in real time, during surgery. These calculationsprovide the surgeon with additional information to most accurately select the intraocular lens(IOL) power. It also provides a laser axis marker so that the astigmatism correcting IOL can berotated precisely. This precise rotation is crucial for the best refractive outcome.
